Opportunities for learning exist everywhere. An innovative teacher sees the environment as an opportunity for learning. Experiencing nature and learning from it;undertaking action projects; observing; taking measurements and analyzing the finding--these are all techniques that make the difference between 'seeing' and 'observing' the environment. Here are some activities to help teachers undertake education through the environment, about the environment, and for the environment. We hope that these activities will lead to 'Joy of Learning' a process in which both students and teachers enjoy exploring their environment together.
